Getting started
Quota and billing
Decimal gigabytes per license key, shared across sites.
Quota is counted in decimal gigabytes (1 GB = 1,000,000,000 bytes) of stored backup data, including history kept under your retention settings.
Tiers
| Tier | Quota | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Personal | 10 GB | $99/year |
| Business | 100 GB | $199/year |
| Agency | 500 GB | $499/year |
Tier quotas are defaults and may be adjusted by the site admin. Your license item carries a snapshot, so price or tier edits never silently change an existing key without a renewal or upgrade event.
When full
New backups to GaiaWP Cloud are blocked with an over-quota notice and an upgrade link. Local and third-party destinations keep working. Free space by deleting old copies or upgrade the tier.
Upgrades
Repurchasing the same product on the same email extends the expiry and syncs the item to the purchased tier (plan, domain limit, quota snapshot). No second key is minted.
